Feeder Cattle Summary Report for 02/25/2015

Receipts: 5439    Last Week: 6128    Year Ago: 7882

Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 2.00-4.00 lower. Feeder heifers 6.00-8.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves no trend established due to limited receipts, however a slightly higher undertone was noted. Demand moderate to good for all classes. Quality as average to attractive. Winter precipitation is again expected to fall across the state over the weekend. Supply included 92 percent over 600 lbs; 27 percent heifers.
