Feeder Cattle Summary Report for 02/18/2015

Receipts: 6128    Last Week: 4692    Year Ago: 10769

Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold steady to firm. Feeder heifers 1.00-3.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves no trend established due to limited receipts, however a higher undertone was noted. Demand moderate to good for all classes. Quality was average to mostly attractive. Winter precipitation is expected to fall acrossthe state over the weekend. Supply included 82 percent over 600 lbs; 42 percent heifers.
