Noble Research Institute Set to Host Snake Seminar on May 20th from 6:00 to 7:15 p.m. The Noble Research Institute will host a Learning About the Snakes of Oklahoma seminar from 6-7:15 p.m. May 20, 2019, at the Southern Tech Auditorium.
Noble Research Institute senior wildlife and fisheries consultant Mike Porter will provide attendees with the need-to-know information about snakes in Oklahoma.



Topics will include:



-The basics of snake biology.
-The largest snake species in Oklahoma.
-The smallest snake species in Oklahoma.
-The venomous snakes in Oklahoma.
-Common nonvenomous snakes in Oklahoma.
-How to avoid snake bites.
-Snake bite first aid.



There is no registration fee, but preregistration is required. For more information and to register, please visit www.noble.org/events. Registration will close on May 13, 2019.
