Compared to last week, steers under 600 lbs and heifers under 650 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 higher, yearlings 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Demand good, supply moderate. The temperature has moderated, making for gathering and transporting cattle easier. The January USDA Cattle On Feed report showed 100 percent On Feed, Placements 99 percent, and 101 percent Marketed. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, 07 percent bulls, with 56 percent over 600 lbs.
