Feeder Cattle Auction for 02/01/16

Receipts: 6693    Week Ago: 6529    Year Ago: 2980

   Compared to last week, steer calves and yearlings steady to 3.00 lower, heifer calves 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Demand moderate to good, supply moderate to heavy. The USDA Cattle Inventory Report showed 92 million head of Cattle and Calves, up three percent. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers, 37 percent heifers, 06 percent bulls, with 46 percent over 600 lbs.
