Feeder Cattle Narrative Report for 03/02/2016

   Receipts: 12,361     Last Week: 9,646     Last Year: 5,306

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 3.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers traded 2.00-4.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves mostly steady. A heavy supply of cattle coming off of wheat weighing over 650 lbs on offer today. A strong chance of storms is expected for the remainder of the week and going into next week. Supply mostly attractive to average quality. Supply included 86 percent over 600 lbs; 35 percent heifers.
