Feeder Cattle Auction for 03/14/16

Receipts: 4555    Week Ago: 5595    Year Ago: 9932

Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves and yearlings 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Demand good, supply moderate. Slaughter steers and heifers traded higher last week, feeder cattle futures showing some strength and grass around the corner are some positive points for Cattle Buyers. The feeder supply included 62 percent steers, 35 percent heifers, 03 percent bulls, with 39 percent over 600 lbs.
