Feeder Cattle Narrative Report for 05/10/2016

Actual Receipts: 7,686   Last Monday: 5,689   Year Ago Monday: 4,036

   Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves 4.00-10.00 higher. Demand very good for all classes. Cattle futures continued higher today after Fridays small advance. Slaughter cattle sold sharply higher with good movement. All this after beef traded another week to the down side. Quality average to attractive with several cattle in thin to moderate flesh conditions with average weigh-ups.
