Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 06/27/2016

***The Oklahoma National Stockyards will be closed on Monday and Tuesday July 4th-5th for Independence Day.***

Actual Receipts: 6,397   Last Monday: 4,978   Year Ago Monday: 6,660

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 4.00-7.00 higher. Demand good for feeder cattle as cattle futures closed higher late last week and today. Steer and heifer calves lightly tested but a lower undertone was noted especially for unweaned calves. Quality was plain to average. Supply included 85 percent over 600 lbs and 37 percent heifers.
