Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 6/6/2016

Compared to last week, steer calves 2.00 to 5.00 higher, heifer calves 5.00 to 10.00 higher, following the last sale sharply lower trade. Yearlings 3.00 to 8.00 higher. Demand good, supply heavy. Trade active for calves and yearlings. Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures trading on the down side, but the good news, Slaughter cattle last traded, 3.00 to 6.00 higher at 128.00-132.00. Feeder supply included 57 percent Steers, 1 percent Holstein Steers, 39 percent Heifers, and 4 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over 600 lbs was 54 percent.
