Feeder Cattle Narrative Report for 06/15/2016

Receipts: 9,554         Last Week: 8,641        Year Ago: 5,787

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 4.00-7.00 lower. Feeder heifers 3.00-5.00 lower. Steer and heifer calves not well tested. Demand good despite the decline in cattle futures. Quality average to attractive, end plain. Hot and very humid weather has been present this week across the state. Supply included 94 percent over 600 lbs and 30 percent heifers.
