Tulsa State Fair Junior Livestock Show Auction Set for 5 PM Today- Sale Order Now Available

The Tulsa State Fair will have the top market animals from the 2016 Junior Market Livestock Show featured in a Premium Auction this afternoon, starting at 5:00 PM. Brandi Herndon, the Tulsa State Fair Agribusiness Manager reminds everyone that the buyer's social starts at 4:00 p.m. and sale will start at 5:00 p.m. in the Ford Truck Arena.

Leading off the auction will be the 2016 Grand Champion Market Steer- shown by Tommy Glover of the Elgin 4-H. (seen here)


The 2016 Tulsa State Fair Night of Champions spotlighted eight young 4-H and FFA members from across Oklahoma who showed the Grand or Reserve Grand Champion in one of the four species that are a part of the annual Junior Market Animal Show of the fair. Judges looked at 771 market lambs, 718 market hogs, 446 meat goats and 148 market steers to arrive at the animals that were a part of the Night of Champions.
