In Case You Missed It- the guest of Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Farm Director Ron Hays earlier in October for his In the Field TV segment seen on KWTV News9 was Tyler Schnaithman of the Garber, Oklahoma FFA Chapter. He is a senior this year at Oklahoma State University and is representing the Oklahoma FFA in the granddaddy of all FFA competitions- the right to be called the 2016 Star Farmer of America.
Schnaithman is already a State Star Farmer- winning that honor in 2013. He also won national honors as the National Champion in Prepared Public Speaking later that same year- 2013. If he is selected as the Star Farmer of America- he would become the tenth Oklahoma FFA member to win that honor.
