Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 10/31/2016

   Actual Receipts: 7,179     Week ago:   7,338    Year ago: 8,617

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers are trading 3.00-6.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves sold mostly 3.00-8.00 higher. Demand continued good throughout the sale. Most action on those heavier weight cattle that were for sure yearlings. Quality average to many attractive. Cooler and more seasonal temps are expected for the remainder of the week. Feeder supply included 61 percent Steers, 34 percent Heifers, and 5 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over 600 lbs was 61 percent.
