Cooperative Extension Invites Producers to Attend Enterprise Budget and Price Protection Seminar

Kyle Worthington, Canadian County Extension Director, invites area farmers and ranchers to attend a meeting introducing easy ways to use OSU Enterprise Budget Forms, Software and Price Protection Tools, for marketing crops and livestock. Farmer and Ranchers from central Oklahoma are strongly encouraged to attend this informative seminar.
Worthington said, "The weak commodity and livestock markets throughout 2016 moving into the 2017 growing season are still a concern for Ag producers and Ag businesses. As Ag producers seek out opportunities to cash flowing over the next few years." Cash flowing and price protections strategies are ways producers can survive the current weak commodity and livestock markets.
Worthington also stated, "These are a few things we can control, regardless if the markets are high or low."
