23,500 Head Offered at Superior Livestock Auction's Last Video Auction - See the Sale Results Here Superior Livestock Auction's February 9th Video Auction

Superior Livestock Auction returned to Fort Worth, Texas hosting their bi-monthly February 9th Video Auction from their studio in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Cattle producers offered 23,500 head of calves, yearlings and breeding stock from 19 states for the Video Auction. The broadcast started at 7:30am CT with Superior Sunrise and the auction followed at 8am CT. The February 9th Video Auction was broadcast live on DISH channel 232 and streamed on Superior Livestock Auction's Click To Bid website. After a bearish market last week, Superior looked to capture on the rally that started Tuesday. A strong demand and profits across the board from their last offering, it appears the bullish market continued in Fort Worth.

Yearling steers were steady to $3 higher while yearling heifers were $2- $5 higher from Superior's last offering. Weaned steer calves were $5 to $7 higher and weaned heifer calves saw an increase of $7 to $10 higher over the January 26th Auction. The demand for calves on cows was strong and steady.

Superior Livestock will hit the road again for their next offering, heading to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday February 23rd for their next bi-monthly Video Auction. Not only is 2017 Superior Livestock Auction's 30th year but it is also bringing some changes; in 2017 all regular bi-monthly video auctions will move to Thursdays to help better address the needs of Superior's increasing seller and buyer base.
