Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 2/15/2017

Receipts: 6,336    Week ago:    6,701    Year ago: 7,647

Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold steady to 2.00 lower, feeder heifers traded 1.00-4.00 lower. Weaned steer and heifer calves mostly steady, plainer type calves 2.00-4.00 lower. Quality plain to attractive. Demand light to moderate.
***Beginning 2-28-17 the OKC West Livestock Auction will change it's sale schedule to cows and bulls on Mondays at 10:00 am; calves and stockers on Tuesdays at 9:00 am and feeders on Wednesdays at 9:00 am.***
Feeder supply included 54 percent Steers, 44 percent Heifers, and 1 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over 600 lbs was 76 percent.
