Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 2/20/2017

Receipts: 6,906    Week ago:    6,257    Year ago: 6,835

Compared to last week, steers and heifers traded unevenly steady. Much larger offering than originally expected but all weights and classes of cattle found very solid support throughout the day. Supply moderate to heavy. Demand moderate to good, best for grazing cattle. Feeder supply included 56 percent Steers, 40 percent Heifers, and 4 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over 600 lbs was 50 percent.
