Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 03/06/2017

   Actual Receipts: 8,069     Last Week: 7,529    Year ago: 10,083

   Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 3.00 higher, except 800 weight heifers 1.00 lower. Steer calves steady to 5.00 higher, except 600 weight calves 1.00-3.00 lower. Heifer calves 2.00-3.00 higher on a limited test. Quality plain thru attractive. Demand moderate to good. Fill average to full. March winds are here and strong winds are gusting up from the south. Storms are expected for later in the day for eastern Oklahoma. Feeder supply included 61 percent Steers, 39 percent Heifers, and 0 percent Bulls. Feeder Supply over 600 lbs was 73 percent.
