Superior Livestock Auction Shares the Sale Results of Their March 9th Video Auction Superior Livestock Auction hosted its bi-monthly March 9th Video Auction from the comfort of their studio in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Cattle producers offered 24,600 head of calves, yearlings and breeding stock from 22 states for this auction. Superior Livestock went live at 7:30am CT with Superior Sunrise and the auction followed at 8am CT. This March 9th Video Auction was broadcast live on DISH channel 232 and streamed on Superior Livestock Auction’s Click To Bid website. Overall today prices remained firm to strong as buying interest is good and the demand for summer grazing cattle begins to ramp up.



Yearling steers saw an increase of $2- $4 while yearling heifers remained steady from Superior’s last offering. Weaned steer calves were steady to $5 higher and weaned heifer calves were also steady to $3 higher from two weeks ago. The demand for calves on cows remained steady.
