OKC West Goes Sharply Lower on Calf Trade for Tuesday Sale OKC West Livestock Market

Tuesday Calf Sale for Tuesday, June 20, 2017


Compared to last Tuesday: Steer and heifer calves sold 5.00-10.00
lower. Sharp declines on both the CME Feeder and Live cattle boards have
buyers being much more picky. Quality mostly plain to average, few
attractive. Demand light for all classes' especially unweaned calves.
Feeder cattle supply included 54 percent Steers, 42 percent Heifers, and
4 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24 percent.

300-400 lbs Thin Fleshed 215.00-225.00; 500-600 lbs 160.00-171.00, 568 lbs
Fleshy 138.00; 600-700 lbs 153.00-161.00, Calves 147.00-158.00; 765 lbs
Calves 134.00. Medium/Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 151.00-156.00; 500-600 lbs
145.50-158.00, 533 lbs Fleshy 148.50; 683 lbs 147.00. Medium/Large 2 200-
