***CLOSE***   No sale last week due to the Independence Day holiday, compared to two weeks ago, steer calves under 450 lbs steady, over 450 lbs 2.00 to 6.00 lower, heifer calves under 500 lbs steady to 4.00 higher, over 500 lbs steady, yearlings steady to 3.00 lower. Demand and supply moderate. Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures closed lower, Slaughter steers and heifers traded 1.00 to 2.00 lower last week, and the hot, humid temperatures have Cattle Buyers in a cautious mode. Feeder cattle supply included 54 percent Steers, 1 percent Dairy Steers, 39 percent Heifers, and 5 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 60 percent.
