Calves Lightly Tested Tuesday with a Lower Undertone Noted at OKC West Livestock Auction OKC West - El Reno, OK Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 7/25/2017

Compared to last Tuesday's sale: Steer and heifer calves were lightly tested compared to last week, however a lower undertone was noted on comparable offerings. Demand moderate to good, especially for light weight weaned calves. Quality plain to attractive. Weather continues to be hot and dry across the trade area. Feeder cattle supply included 61 percent Steers, 36 percent Heifers, and 3 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45 percent.


Feeder Steers(Per CWT): Medium/Large 1 354 lbs Thin Fleshed 193.00; 400-500 lbs 171.00-180.00; 500-600 lbs 167.00-174.00, 557 lbs Fancy 173.00, Fleshy 161.00, 570 lbs Thin Fleshed 168.00; 600-700 lbs 161.00- 166.00, Calves 147.50-156.00; 712 lbs Calves 145.00. Medium/Large 1-2 400- 500 lbs 168.00-181.00, 488 lbs Thin Fleshed 176.00; 500-600 lbs 158.00- 162.00, 550 lbs Thin Fleshed 155.00; 600-700 lbs Calves 135.00-154.50; 736 lbs 147.00, 707 lbs Calves 139.00. Medium/Large 2 702 lbs Brahman X 131.50.


Feeder Heifers(Per CWT): Medium/Large 1 441 lbs 156.00, 493 lbs Fleshy 153.00; 500-600 lbs 144.00-150.00; 600-700 lbs 138.00-139.50, Calves 141.00-146.00, 647 lbs Fleshy 144.00; 713 lbs Calves 141.50. Medium/Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 148.00-157.00, 471 lbs Fleshy 147.00; 500-600 lbs 145.50-153.50; 619 lbs 141.50, 694 lbs Calves 135.00; 756 lbs 137.00.
