Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded unevenly steady on limited comparable offerings. Steer and heifer calves lightly tested with a firmer undertone noted. Demand moderate. Quality mostly average. Receipts light today with heat advisories continuing throughout late July in the trading area. Buyers waiting for moisture and the negative effect from the Cattle on Feed report to settle in before moving cattle and adding to inventories. Feeder cattle supply included 54 percent Steers, 44 percent Heifers, and 2 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 75 percent.
