Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 2.00-4.00 higher. Feeder
heifers traded mostly steady on limited offerings. Steer and heifer
calves sold mostly steady to firm where comparable sales were noted.
Demand moderate to good, quality plain to attractive. Cooler weather and
much needed moisture has swept across the trade area. Feeder cattle
supply included 66 percent Steers, 33 percent Heifers, and 2 percent
Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 85 percent.
