Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 9/12-13/2017

   Compared to last Week: Feeder steers sold 3.00-5.00 higher, feeder heifers traded mostly steady to firm. Steer and heifer calves traded 2.00-3.00 higher with exception of reputation ranch calves trading sharply higher. Quality mostly average to attractive. Demand good to very good especially for feeder steers. Feeder cattle supply included 65 percent Steers, 35 percent Heifers, and 0 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 79 percent.
