   Compared to last week:
Feeder steers and heifers are trading mostly steady to 1.00 higher. Steer calves 4.00-6.00 lower. Heifer calves steady to 2.00 lower. Demand light for calves, and good for yearling cattle. Much needed rain swept across the trading region over the weekend. Producers in the area have begun to sell their calves after weaning which has led to a uptick in receipts for September so far. Feeder cattle supply included 58 percent Steers, 0 percent Dairy Steers, 38 percent Heifers, and 3 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 66 percent.
