OKC West Yearling Sale a Mixed Bag Wednesday with Higher Demand for Heay Weight Calves OKC West - El Reno, OK
Livestock Weighted Average Report for 9/26-27/2017




Total Receipts:        6,712




Compared to last week: Feeder steers over 800 lbs 2.00-4.00 higher, under
800 lbs steady to weak. Feeder heifers traded mostly 1.00-3.00 higher on
light offerings. Steer and heifer calves sold steady to weak on limited
comparable sales. Demand good for heavier weight feeder cattle, moderate for
weaned calves and light for unweaned fleshy calves. Quality of feeders average
to attractive, calves mostly plain, few average to attractive.
