As the members of the Oklahoma Farm Bureau work towards their annual convention coming up November 10-12, Buchanan says the organization's resolutions committee is collaborating to bring proposed resolutions to the delegate floor at the convention, to eventually be reviewed, discussed and voted on to either deny or approve each item into OFB policy.
Such issues that have materialized so far in the process, includes property rights, the ongoing feral hog issue, the 2018 Farm Bill, the repeal of WOTUS and other issues related to Oklahoma's water resources, and a proposed fuel tax by state lawmakers to help fix the state budget crisis.
