Yearling Cattle Prices Weaker in Monday Trade at Joplin Stockyards

Compared to last week, steer calves steady except under
450 lbs and 600 weights steady to 3.00 higher, yearlings steers steady
to 2.00 lower, heifer calves and yearling heifers 3.00 to 6.00 lower.
Demand and supply moderate. Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures closed
lower, and the lower fat cattle trade putting pressure on the feeder
cattle trade. The cooler, dry weather across the trade area has been
advantageous for completing harvest and moving cattle to market.

Special Yearling Sale in conjunction with their regular feeder cattle
sale. A Special Video Auction will be held following the feeder cattle
