Oklahoma State University Invites Cotton Producers to Partcipate in New Cotton Webinar Series
Fri, 04 Jan 2019 14:06:58 CST
Extension Cotton Specialist Dr. Seth Byrd will host Oklahoma State University's first Cotton Webinar from the OSU Southwest Research and Extension center at Altus, Oklahoma on January 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. During this learning event that will be simulcast online, producers will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with producers, industry representatives and consultants from across the state.
"This is going to be our first ever attempt at a cotton webinar and the goal is just to hopefully bring everybody involved in the Oklahoma cotton industry together," Byrd stated. "As the acreage increases and becomes more spread out, I'm hoping that this webinar will serve as a gathering place where information can be exchanged and questions asked regarding current topics facing cotton production in our state. I'm also hope that this will increase interaction between producers in different areas of our state and strengthen the network in Oklahoma as we move forward."
If you are unable to attend the actual meeting, you may link (okla.st/2Rc2Oge) to the actual webinar itself online on the day of the event.
Support for this event is provided by The Cotton Board & the Oklahoma Cotton Council.
