Steer Calves Trade Mostly Steady and Heifers 5.00-8.00 Higher on Tuesday at OKC West Livestock OKC West Livestock Market - El Reno, OK

Total Receipts:                  4,000



Compared to last Tuesday: Steer calves sold mostly steady with few trades
of 500-600 lbs up to 5.00 higher. Heifers calves traded 5.00-8.00 higher.
Demand good to very good as demand for wheat pasture cattle increases. Quality
plain to attractive. A cold snap came across the trade area and is expected
all the way into next week. Feeder cattle supply included 50 percent Steers,
0 percent Dairy Steers, 46 percent Heifers, and 4 percent Bulls. Feeder
cattle supply over 600 lbs was 28 percent.
