Cattlemen's Educational Series a Key Element of the 67th Cattlemen's Convention

The Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association's 67th Annual Convention and Trade Show is scheduled for July 19 and 20. A key element of OCA Convention is the Cattlemen's Educational Series, including four diverse educational sessions on timely topics. The Series is sponsored by the National Corn Growers Association.
The session topics and speakers are listed below.
Session 1: "Cattle Market Outlook"; Dr. Derrell Peel, OSU Extension Economist
Session 2: "Fake Meat"; Danielle Beck, NCBA Senior Director of Government Affairs
Session 3: "Animal Behavior"; Dr. Janeen Salak-Johnson, Associate Professor & Temple Grandin Professorship at Oklahoma State University Department of Animal & Food Sciences
Session 4: CattleMax Database/Record Keeping: Terrell Miller, Founder of CattleMax Software
Additional sponsors for the Cattlemen's Educational Series Sessions include; Hargrove Insurance, Xcel Feedyard, Grandin Livestock Handling Systems, Inc., CattleMax.
In addition to a large, in-door trade show; convention will also include discussion around OCA policy and an OCA General Business meeting. The final event of convention is the awards banquet where outstanding cattlemen and their accomplishments will be recognized and celebrated.
