Compared to last week: All classes of feeder cattle and calves lightly tested. Feeder steers 2.00-4.00 higher. Feeder heifers 1.00-3.00 higher. Steer calves 2.00-5.00 higher. Heifer calves steady to 2.00 higher. Short weaned or unweaned calves selling at a sharp decline from the weaned calves. Heat and high humidity limiting demand for those young unweaned calves. Demand good to very good for feeders and long weaned cattle. Quality plain to average, few attractive. A full week of no rain and warm sunny days has farmers very busy cutting wheat or hay. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (51% Steers, 47% Heifers, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 70%.
