Compared to last week: Feeder steers 1.00-5.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00 higher. Steer calves 500-600 lbs. 2.00-6.00 lower, lighter weights not well tested. Heifer calves 2.00-3.00 higher. Quality plain thru attractive and several cattle in thin and gaunt conditions. Condition of cattle more favorable to buyers than last week. Weather has turned more summer like and hot and humid. Farmers continue busy working in the field finishing wheat harvest, cutting hay, working ground or planting fall crops. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (66% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 32% Heifers, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 82%.
