Feeder Steers, Heifers, Steer Calves and Heifer Calves All Higher at Oklahoma National on Monday

AUCTION
This Week             6,600
Last Reported        5,139
Last Year               5,963

*** Close ***
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00-5.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves 500-600 lbs 3.00-5.00 higher, lighter weight calves not well tested. Demand good. Quality average to attractive. Much needed moisture came over the weekend, but temperatures remain warm and very humid. Wheat planting is in full swing across the state, but the continued warm temps have farmers worried about army worms. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 56%.
