Steers, Heifer Calves and Yearlings higher at Joplin Regional on Monday

Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves and yearlings steady to 3.00 higher. Demand moderate to good, supply moderate. Slaughter steers and heifers traded higher last week, but Feeder Cattle futures closed lower and grains trading sharply higher adding pressure to the feeder cattle trade. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 47% Heifers, 8% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 59%.
