Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers traded unevenly steady. Steer calves 500-600 lbs. steady to 2.00 higher, lighter weights not tested. Heifer calves not well tested. Quality plain to average. Demand moderate to good for feeder cattle moderate for calves. Demand limited for short weaned or un-weaned calves. Temperatures remain very warm for the last day of September but a cold front is in the forecast for late in the week. Farmers continue to plant wheat pasture while some wheat is already up. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 39% Heifers, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 69%.
