Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association Kicks Off 2019 Edition of Its Fall Gathering Meetings in Elk City

Sun, 27 Oct 2019 23:22:55 CDT

Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association Kicks Off 2019 Edition of Its Fall Gathering Meetings in Elk City The Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association will commence its 2019 edition of its Fall Gathering meetings this week. Throughout the next few weeks, the association will host 11 meetings across the state, bringing together OCA members and guests to talk about organizational issues, industry trends and to take a pulse on the cattle industry here in Oklahoma.

Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Farm Director Ron Hays recently caught up with OCA Executive Vice President Michael Kelsey about the upcoming schedule.

"Our Fall Gatherings structure is very informal. We visit, get to know people. It's an opportunity to talk about the association from a larges scale picture, where our spring meetings are a little more zeroed in on the Legislative Session," he explained. "But, we want to hear feedback about what's on your mind. So, we encourage folks to come out and visit with us and bring a friend."

The first meeting is scheduled to take place in Elk City on Monday, October 28th. A full schedule of the 2019 OCA Fall Gatherings can be found on the OCA website. All meetings are free to attend.
