Compared to last week: Slaughter cows boner cows 2.00-4.00 lower. Breaker cows not tested. Lean cows 1.00-3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold 2.00-3.00 lower. Demand moderate.
A total of 274 cows and bulls with 69 percent going to packers. The estimated dressed cost at the OKC West Livestock Auction: Lean cows 128.35; Boners 122.65; Breakers 120.90; Light weight cows 109.40; Bulls 152.80. Supply included: 29% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 66% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (57% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 36% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
