Farm Bureau Webinar with Congressman Frank Lucas Latest Resource on CFAP- Links to Several

There have already been several webinars and online presentations regarding the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program- othewise known as CFAP. The most recent one came on Wednesday when the Oklahoma Farm Bureau hosted Oklahoma Congressman Frank Lucas to offer a political perspective on the implementation and rules of the CFAP that was authorized in the CARES Act by Congress.
Congressman Lucas recently had some one on one time with USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue and what he learned there is a part of what was shared on Wednesday.

Oklahoma State University and the Oklahoma Office of the Farm Service Agency teamed up to present a couple of webinars on Tuesday as Dr. Amy Hagerman and other OSU Extension specialists explained the nuts and bolts of the how the money is being allocated in the program and the FSA State Executive Scott Biggs talked about the sign up aspects of the program.
Finally- a good resource from our neighbors to the north- Kansas State Extension teamed up with the Kansas FSA folks to present their webinar last Friday- led by Ag Policy Specialist Robin Reid.
