Bennett Event Center Layout Allows For Plenty Of Room To Safely Attend OKC Farm Show This Week Says John Riles, Midwest Farm Shows President..

For John Riles, president of Midwest Farm Shows, cancelling the spring Oklahoma City Farm Show was not an option in March when the pandemic closed events around the country. During an interview with Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Farm Director Ron Hays, Riles said it was a challenge, but they found a workable solution.
We made the tough call and looked for dates to reschedule the show, Riles said. We really didn't want to cancel it, so we picked the June (18-20) dates, he said.
We're pretty excited to have the show and the State Fair Park has been a great partner, Riles said.
Riles praised the new Bennett Event Center at State Fair Park and the many options available for booth layout.
This is a great facility with over 200,000 square feet so it gives us the space to safely modify the layout with a lot of open space, he said.
We reduced the density by 50 percent with the idea we can socially distance throughout the facility, he said.
If we didn't have this new building it would be a lot tougher, he added.
This show is for essential workers in the farming and ranching community, Riles said. We want to be a resource for them to network and make buying decisions in a safe, comfortable manner.
Exhibits include all the latest in agriculture with a full line of displays, including tractor, sprayer, tillage, harvest equipment, cattle management products, and more. In addition to indoor and outdoor exhibits, daily horse training seminars, cattle chute demonstrations, cattle grading competitions, and prize drawings make the Oklahoma City Farm Show a don't-miss event.
