Tue, 14 Jul 2020 14:03:00 CDT
Midwest Dairy announced the third annual Dairy Experience Forum to be held virtually on Wednesday, July 15. This one-day, online event will take place in three, 90-minute segments, featuring industry experts who will share actionable consumer insights, future forecasting and thought leadership all to help the dairy supply chain drive demand during today's rapidly changing food and beverage climate. Discussions will address questions such as "How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted food and beverage trends?" and "What's next for dairy?"
Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Associate Farm Director, KC Sheperd spoke with Theresa Reps, the Agriculture affairs manager at Midwest dairy and she said this is an opportunity to understand where consumers are at and what they are thinking so they can be prepared on moving dairy forward, "One of the really unique things about the dairy experience forum is that it encompasses multiple different audiences from all across the supply chain. So we're going have dairy farmers on, we're going to have processors, retailers, wellness professionals, anyone that really touches dairy is going to be able to attend and take something away from this conference."
The vision for the Dairy Experience Forum is to facilitate conversation and learning among farmers, dairy experts and partners as they discuss useful insights and ideas that can be used in their ongoing work to help ensure a successful future for dairy. As part of the program, attendees will hear from leaders, both from within and outside of the dairy industry, who are translating consumer insights, relevant to variety of generations, into innovative products that meet the needs of consumers of all ages.
