This Weeks Ag in the Classroom, Who has the Biggest Pumpkin?

Whether your kids are doing blended learning, online learning, or back in school, its always nice to have a few extra resources and fun things to do as a family! Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom has come up with some excellent daily activities you can do with your kids and family.
For this week's Ag in the Classroom we are talking about Weigh off Time! Welcome to FALL!! Oklahoma AITC has many Pumpkin Activities for you to use with your students. Check these out: "Case of the Missing Pumpkin," "Punkin' Chunkin'," and "Pumpkin Globe". Today however, we want to share Jack Waddell's Giant Pumpkin (and watermelon) weigh off video! We are super proud of Jack and his accomplishments! Do you have an outstanding student? or an Outstanding Pumpkin? Share their story with Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom. . #okagclass #growjack

Jack Waddell won the giant pumpkin contest last year and has worked diligently all spring and summer to win again this year. This young man is full of helpful tips and is destined for success. Jack's giant pumpkin is from Grow Jack Outdoors in Woodward, Oklahoma. Listen to his story and be inspired!
And Don't forget Newcastle's The Great Pumpkin Fest coming up October 27th from 9am-6pm.
The Great Pumpkin Fest, one day event, is celebrated in October. Visitors from all over come to visit the pumpkin patch, participate in the fun, games and contests as well as visit with participating businesses and organizations. Vendor space is available at cost to non-members, otherwise space is free to members. An estimated 300 people come to stay and play and view all the Pumpkins!
