OSU's Kim Anderson Talks about the $5.00 Wheat Price
Thu, 08 Oct 2020 16:42:44 CDT
Oklahoma State University Extension Grains Market Analyst Dr. Kim Anderson talks about what is going on in the Wheat Markets weekly on SUNUP.
This week Dr. Andreson talks about the price of wheat getting above the $5.00 mark, "I think $5.00 is a big deal. There's a lot going on in the market right now. I think the biggest thing is the importers are buying massive amounts of wheat. Egypt usually has a 3 to 4 month storage, they are now shooting for a 6 months storage, so there's real strong export demand, and that export demand is for bread-flower wheat."
