Join the Animal Identification & Information Systems Council Meeting, Wednesday, October 28, 2020

The next Animal Identification & Information Systems Council meeting will be held virtually on October 28, 2 p.m. CST and will feature Ron Lane from GVL as the presenter. Lane will outline what GVL does, how it functions and the role eCVIs could play in traceability.
Lane was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle on one of the oldest and largest ranches in Texas. He attended Texas Tech University and earned an Animal Science degree. After graduation, Ron ranched and trained horses until 1998 when he accepted his first sales position with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica.
His territory covered West Texas and he held that position for nearly 10 years. Ron has since managed several ranches, has worked for Cargill as a Business Development Manager and for Kinetic Vet. He continues to be involved in ranching with his father and shows in the National Reined Cowhorse Association. Ron joined the GVL team in September of 2016 as the Territory Manager for the Western Region and was promoted to National Sales Manager in October of 2017.
