Union Mututal Insurance of Oklahoma Rolls Out Its Town and Country Policy
Tue, 15 Dec 2020 07:59:17 CST
Union Mutual Insurance Company of Oklahoma has announced a new policy for property owners across all 77 counties in Oklahoma- the Town and Country Policy. Monica Collison, President and CEO for Union Mutual, says that this is a Hybrid product that will offer flexibility to those living in rural areas of the state.
Collison tells Radio Oklahoma Ag Network Farm Director Ron Hays that Union Mutual's legacy product is its cash value offerings- but the Town and Country product breaks new ground. "The Town and Country Policy gives us the opportunity to branch into the preferred market, which offers broader coverages and replacement type coverages for our consumers, for our agents, and so it's exciting to be able to give consumers another choice in insurance- especially a choice that understands rural Oklahoma and the rural marketplace."
The Town and Country policy will allow the 300 agents all across Oklahoma to write a policy that not only covers the home and property- but Collison says "this type of policy allows us to provide that coverage for any sort of farm exposure as well." That means farmer's barns, livestock and machinery can be protected as well.
Chartered in 1938?, Union Mutual writes property and casualty insurance throughout the state of Oklahoma- Collison adds that Union Mutual is especially focused on rural Oklahoma- outside of the two major metros- "We really focus on the rural consumer."
