North Carolina Pork Council Weigh in on Joe Biden's Choice to Be His EPA Administrator

President Elect Joe Biden has announced his plans to nominate the current Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Michael Regan to head the Environmental Protection Agency in his administration.
In his Thursday release of who he will put in place to tackle Climate Change issues- Biden offered this about Michael Regan, his expected Administrator of the EPA::
The current Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Regan has served in the EPA under both Democratic and Republican presidents and has a distinguished track record of bringing people together across the public, private, and non-profit sectors to advance environmental justice and seek solutions to environmental and climate challenges.
One ag group that has offered a brief statement on this expected nomination is the North Carolina Pork Council- "The North Carolina Pork Council issued the following statement today regarding the presumptive nomination of Michael Regan for the EPA role:
"Secretary Regan made a point to educate himself about our industry and issues. He visited our farms and listened carefully to our concerns. While we don't always agree, we respected each other and shared a commitment to clean water, clean air and economic progress for everyone."
The North Carolina Pork Council is the group that will soon have Oklahoman Roy Lee Lindsey as their Executive Director.
