Tips and Help for Well Owners During Severe Cold Weather If you experience water well problems due to the cold weather and need help, please contact an OWRB-licensed well or pump contractor https://www.owrb.ok.gov/welldrilling/pdf/licensedfirms.

Helpful tips for well owners during the cold snap:
1. Ensure that your well house is insulated.
2. Place an incandescent bulb or heat lamp in the well house.
3. Wrap insulation or heat tape on exposed pipes.
