Food and Wine Event Returns Featuring Farmers and New Locations This spring, food and wine lovers visiting Hermann will again have the opportunity to learn more from the farmers behind their food and wine, while visiting two new wine trail locations. Celebrating the best of what Missouri has to offer, tickets are selling fast for the third annual 'The Farmers Table Wine Trail event, hosted by Missouri CommonGround and the Hermann Wine Trail

In addition to award-winning wine, The Farmers' Table Wine Trail will showcase corn, soy, beef, pork, turkey, eggs, and dairy - all foods representing the state's vibrant agricultural landscape. At each stop, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Missouri CommonGround volunteers through short video snapshots of their farms as they taste their way through the seven delectable wine and food pairings.

"The Hermann Wine Trail is excited to host The Farmers' Table Wine Trail for the third year. It is a perfect addition to our popular wine and food pairing events," said Hermann Wine Trail President Patty Held. "This opportunity allows us to showcase the best of what Missouri has to offer, great food and wine in beautiful Hermann wine country."

The Farmers' Table Wine Trail runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 10, with tasting experiences at seven Hermann Wine Trail locations including two new additions: Curling Vine Winery and Hermann's newest winery, G. Husmann Wine Company. Returning locations include: Adam Puchta Winery, Bias Winery, Dierberg Star Lane Tasting Room, Hermannhof Winery, and Röbller Vineyard. Tickets for the event are $30 and include wine and food pairings, a souvenir wine glass, and the chance to win a drawing for a Missouri gift basket and one night's stay in Hermann. A limited number of tickets are available and must be purchased online

This event is made possible through a partnership between Missouri CommonGround, the Hermann Wine Trail, and support from the Missouri Wine & Grape Board. Missouri CommonGround is a group of volunteer farm women passionate about agriculture and sharing their experiences raising food. Learn more about today's food production and meet the farmers behind the food at www.findourcommonground.com.
